Hi, my name is DaWuan Smith. I would like to welcome you to the University of Toledo's official National Society of
Black Engineers (NSBE) website. NSBE is a professional student operated organization. We mainly specialize in the
fields of math, science, and engineering, but our organization welcomes students from any major or race. We are
actively involved on campus and in the community. We build mutually beneficial alliances with companies for networking,
sponsorship, and employment opportunities.
We have a membership of brave souls who stand and face the toughest challenges despite the odds. We stand together in the quest to increase the number of underrepresented individuals in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine (STEMM) fields. Our organization will continue to cultivate and mold engineering students into tomorrow's engineers, inventors, and leaders. We strive to improve our company, country, and community.
