Composites GroupThe composites group is responsible for the design and build of all molds and body shells. The composites group works with fiberglass, aluminum, kevlar, and carbon fiber.
Suspension GroupThe suspension group is responsible for the design and build the car's suspension system. Suspension design begins with setting up desirable vehicle dynamics upon which the car will be based. The functional areas of the suspension design include:
Powertrain/Driveline GroupThe powertrain group is responsible for the design and build of the car's powertrain system. This includes the following areas: the induction system (manifold, plenum, restrictor, and throttle body), the fuel management (fuel injection incorporation and tuning), exhaust system design, dyno testing, internal engine optimization, cooling system, and driveline.
Electrical GroupThe electrical groups is responsible for the design and build of all automotive electronics. This includes the dash, the power distribution, the shift controller, pneumatic shifting, data acquisition, and the development of new technologies (including traction control and DAQ).
