Guidelines for poster presentation

 Poster Specifications

Please prepare your poster using a tri-fold (Poster display board) available in office supplies stores.

The tri-fold will be kept on a table in the poster room. 

bullet

The presenters should limit their poster size according to the tri-fold. 

Layout and Text sizes

bullet

Divide the contents of your poster into appropriate sections, such as: title, author and affiliation; abstract; methodology; data; results; and conclusions.

bullet

The size of the texts should be such that the posters should be easily read from 3 to 4 feet

Suggested text sizes for the different sections

bullet

Title should be printed across the top of the poster in characters of at least 72 pt

bullet

The headings should not be less than 32 pt in size

bullet

Use a font size of no less than 24 pt for your text

bullet

It is suggested that for ease of viewing, try to convert any tables into figures

bullet

Lines in graphs should be heavy

bullet

Symbols, letters and numbers should be large enough to be seen from a distance of 3-4 feet
