DESIGN PROBLEMS

#1. You are required to compute the concentrations of CO, CO2, NO and NO2 as a function of time for the data given on the attached spreadsheet for a restaurant kitchen in Toledo, OH. The kitchen consists of 2 rooms without a door in between the rooms. You can use a single compartment model for computing the concentration. The occupancy during working hours is given on the work sheet. The air from the kitchen is not recirculated.
Compare your results with available air quality standards and plot the graph of concentration versus time.

#2. You are required to calculate the concentrations of CO, CO2 and Respirable Particles as a function of time for the data given on the attached spreadsheet for a conference room using a one compartment model.
