Please join us in welcoming Tom Tingle of HNTB Architecture, Inc. as he presents “Lucas County’s Green Arena”. Tom will discuss the latest design concepts for the new arena which include sustainable design features, new urbanism concepts, and fan friendly amenities. Kansas City based HNTB Architecture, Inc. is working with Toledo based The Collaborative and Poggemeyer Design Group to design one of the first Green Arenas in the United States.

Tom is the National Director of Sports Architecture for Kansas City based HNTB Architecture, Inc. As a Vice President in the firm he leads a staff of over 50 architects in the design of sports facilities all over the country. Tom’s 25 years of experience include working on such projects as the Charlotte Bobcats Arena, Petco Park in San Diego, the Orange Bowl renovation in Miami, and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. He also has worked on a number of smaller stadiums, arenas, and ballparks most notably the Toledo Mud Hens Fifth Third Field.
