Prerequisite : engineering mathematics or consent of instructor
A study of transport and permeation of gases and vapors into and through polymers. Basic scientific concepts are developed followed by discussions of practical applications. Topics include mathematics of diffusion, polymer-permeant relations, effects of polymer structure, and measurements of permeation and transport.
