Alice Noreyan is a Ph.D. Student in Manufacturing Engineering since September 2000 at The University of Toledo, MIME Department.  She received  her M.Sc.  Degree  in Industrial Engineering from the American University of Armenia - College of Industrial Engineering.  In July 1993 she graduated the Physics Department from the Yerevan State University in Armenia with a Diploma in Physics.  She continued her education further by attending a three-year post-graduate program in the Physics Department, Solid State Physics, at the same University.

Starting with 1992 she held a position of Research Assistant at the Institute of Applied Problems of Physics in Yerevan, Armenia and at American University of Armenia Engineering Research Center. Between 1996 and 1998 she worked as an Engineer Economist at Shant Full Economic Company in Yerevan, Armenia. Before coming to United States, she was the Head of Trade Promotion and Information Group at Business Support Center in Yerevan.

In September 2000 she joined the MIME Department working as an Associate Researcher with the Abrasive Micro-Machining Consortium in the Nano-Machining Laboratory.   She is performing research in molecular dynamics simulation of the abrasive processes.

Her research interests in the PMMC are focused on modeling and simulation of the abrasive processes.
