A Saint-Gobain Ceramic Materials group visited PMMC

at University of Toledo on December 07, 2000

The distinguished memebers of Saint-Gobain Industrial Ceramic Materials group,

from left to right: Dr.Arup Khaund, Director of R&D Specialty Ceramic Grains Division , 

Dr. Ion Benea, Director R&D at Warren Amplex Diamond Products,

Dr. Dean Arvidson, General Manager at Specialty Aluminas/Superabrasives/Chemicals. 

The visit started with presentations given by Dr. Ioan Marinescu and the PMMC researchers

working at projects in which Saint Gobain Group is interested

 Visitors' group took a guided tour of PMMC facilities 

Scientific discussions around Molecular Dynamics simulation of abrasive proceses performed within PMMC

The distinguished visitors showed a high interest in PMMC Nano-Machining Laboratory and the research projects performed in this Lab

Dr. Ioan Marinescu, PMMC Director, presented the PMMC projects in High Bay Area

An interesting discussion between PMMC researchers and the visitors concluded the visit
