RAYAN  FELIX  COUTINHO

Rayan Coutinho graduated with a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering in December 2002 from The University of Toledo, MIME Department.  He received  his B.E.  Degree  in Production Engineering in 1999 from the University of Bombay, India, and his M.S. degree from MIME Department at University of Toledo.

He was a co-op trainee in Materials R&D Department, Crompton Greaves, Ltd., Bombay, India for six months in 1998 and 1999, and for four months in DANA Corporation - Toledo in 2002's summer.

His research interests in the PMMC were  focused on studying and optimization of the hard turning process. He was also doing research in designing of the cutting tools, jigs and fixtures design, manufacturing processes.
