Radu Babiceanu is a M.Sc. Student in Mechanical Engineering in the MIME Department at The University of Toledo, since August 1999.

He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering and Management of Technological Systems within the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 1993. After 1993 graduation, he worked in industry as a Mechanical Engineer and Design Engineer for two companies.

He joined the PMMC in January 2000 after his first semester of study at The University of Toledo.

He is involved in a project regarding the study of the diamond turning process when applied to aluminum pistons.
