Welcome to
Construction Engineering

Dr. Nick Kissoff
Assistant Professor and CET
Undergraduate Program Director

Welcome to the Construction Engineering Technology website. From here you can learn about our program, our students and our profession as we aim to manage all phases of design and completion of residential, commercial, industrial and public works construction projects. Our graduates are in constant demand by the construction industry, not only in Northwest Ohio, but all over Ohio and the Midwestern United States. Our program focuses on the application of engineering knowledge as it pertains to the construction process and we include many real world problems and situations within our classes in order to give our students a hands-on approach to their education. We have recently received our TAC-ABET accreditation as our program has been shown to satisfy the requirements of this national review board. By blending classes in science, engineering design and analysis as well as management, we are assured to offer a quality degree in engineering that is accepted throughout the industry. This means that our graduates have the ability to progress further with their degree and make the most of their career in construction, as well as have the ability to become a Registered Engineer with their four year bachelor's degree. We are the only ABET accredited Construction Engineering program in Northwest Ohio that can make that claim, and one of only two in the state of Ohio. Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our program. Please contact me should you have any questions regarding our program, or if you want to learn more through a visit to our campus.
