Research Interests

High performance embedded computing of sensor array processing, radar signal processing, and adaptive control systems. FPGA, Multi-Core and GPU based embedded systems for smart antennas, radars and adaptive control systems, application specific computer architectures, in-vehicle networks and data bus. Bird and Bat call recognitions.

Biography

Mohsin M. Jamali earned his B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the Aligarh Muslim University, India in 1975, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada in 1979 and Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada in 1984. His research has been sponsored by NASA, Office of Naval Research and Air Force Research Laboratory, Department of Energy. He received Summer Faculty Research Fellowships from AFOSR (Sensor Directorate-2005) and Air Force Research Laboratory (Air Vehicle Directorate- 2007 & 2008) at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He is a senior member of IEEE. He is a regular reviewer for ISCAS symposium and SAE in-vehicle networks.
