Branden Long
|
Branden Long finished his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the year 2007. He finished his M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio in the year 2009. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. degree in the Electrical Engineering at the University of Toledo. He is playing a critical role in setting-up the Micro-fabrication laboratory the University of Toledo. His research interests include fabrication and characterization of advanced memory and logic devices, compound semiconductors, thin film transistors, and exploring novel switching mechanisms in semiconductor devices for beyond CMOS applications. His expected date of graduation is spring 2012. His personal hobbies include sports, puzzles, and home repair.

Yibo Li
|
Yibo Li,finished his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Science and Technology from the South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China in the year 2008. He accomplished his Master program of Electrical Engineering at the Syracuse University in the year of 2010. His current research interest includes fabrication and test of next generation memory devices, CAD for semiconductor devices modeling, compound semiconductors, and integrated analogy circuit design. His personal hobbies are badminton, swimming and skiing.

Madhumita Chowdhury
|
Madhumita Chowdhury, is pursuing her M.S in EECS department with solid state devices as her focus group. She completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree from West Bengal University of Technology, India in 2009. Her research interests are fabrication and characterization of resistive RAMS (memristors), compound semiconductors and high k material based devices. She is also interested in fabrication of flexible/eco friendly materials like Graphene to be used as electrodes. She is planning on graduating by June 2011. Her co-curricular activities include dancing, playing badminton and playing keyboard.

Saptarshi Mandal
|
Saptarshi Mandal finished his B.Tech.in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India in 2010. After finishing B.Tech., he worked at Gallium Arsenide Enabling Center in India for one year. His past expertise lies in the areas of Compound Semiconductor Devices mainly III-Vs: MESFETs, HEMTs, simulation, fabrication, and characterization, device simulation using finite elements. He joined the Nanoelectronics group at UT in Fall 2011. His current research efforts are focused on investigating nanoelectronic RRAM devices and developing the circuit applications in the areas of next generation of digital and analog memory.

Ammaarah El-Amin
|
Ammaarah El-Amin Ammaarah El-Amin completed her Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Toledo in 2011. She joined the Nanoelectronics group in Fall 2011 and is currently pursuing her Masters in Electrical Engineering at the university of Toledo. Her research interests lie in the areas of photovoltaics and green energy as well material and vacuum science. She has worked with CdTe solar cells during her REU experience. She is currently working in the areas of Organic photovoltaics and understanding the role of different HRT materials in OPV. Some of her personal hobbies include reading, and learning to play her guitar.

Joseph Livecchi
|
Joseph Livecchi is a dual majoring in electrical engineering and computer science. As a hobby, he loves to program computers and websites.
He has been in Boy Scouts for over 6 years and he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in December 2007. He is actively involved in
research activitivies including microfabrication process development of patterning thin transition metal oxide films using Reactive Ion Etching, and
deposition of thin metal films for RRAM and PV devices.
