EECS Department offers two degree programs: i) The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE) and ii) The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Both programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, http://www.abet.org/. The CSE program is also accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, http://www.abet.org/. Details about the degree programs are available from the EECS webpages. EECS Department offers Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (thesis option as well as non-thesis option) and Masters degree in Engineering (thesis option as well as non-thesis option) with concentration in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Doctoral degrees are also offered in Engineering with concentration in Electrical Engineering (EE) as well as concentration in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). | 04/02/12 | We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Min Song as a Professor in the EECS Department. He received his PhD from the University of Toledo in 2001. His research interests include design, analysis, and evaluation of cognitive radio networks, wireless sensor networks, wireless mesh networks, WLAN, and mobile ad-hoc networks, and network security. He has secured more than $2 million research funding from NSF, DOE, and NASA, and published more than 110 technical papers. Dr. Song is the recipient of NSF CAREER Award and the recipient of DOE GAANN Award.
