Although the masm.exe file appears on the p: drive, it cannot be simply run without additional setup. The number of licenses is restricted so this is why access is restricted. Trying to run MASM from other labs will be difficult at best. MASM 6.11 is installed in all labs (NE 1002) for which we have licenses (N=35). MASM is no longer available to purchase. MS Visual Studio Pro 6.0 (with two updates) contains an assembler, "ML.EXE" UT has a site license for MS Visual Studio Pro 6.0 EECS (Dr. Heuring and Dr. Standley) has agreed that the best alternative to MASM at this time is "ML.EXE" ECC has installed MS Visual Studio Pro 6.0 (and ML.EXE) in all ECC labs (except NI 1072 and NI 1075).
