Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
How do I increase my UTAD mailbox or H: drive size?

From page 5 of the September, 2005 EIT Newsletter:

Email System Upgrade:
"New servers were purchased to replace the aging e-mail servers. The system now consists of an 8-node server cluster for high availability. Additional disk storage space was added to allow us to increase the mailbox sizes for all system users. The mailbox size for students has been doubled to 50mb and faculty/staff mailboxes have been tripled in size to 150mb. If there is a downside to this upgrade, we have fully allocated the available space and will not be able to entertain requests for mailbox sizes above the defaults provided."

Home Directory (H: Drive) Space Increases:
"Another system upgrade has allowed us to increase the amount of disk space allocated to faculty/staff home directories (also known as your H: drive) from 150mb to 250mb. Although the actual size of the students? home directories has not increased from 50mb, the change from roaming profi les eliminated storing the application data folder which was often using almost 25mb of the 50mb available. If faculty/staff want to increase the size of their home directory above the campus standard 250mb provided, their department may acquire additional space for $30 per gigabyte per year (in increments of 250mb) to be billed annually."
