If you have a network cable, it is possible to connect to the network without a wireless card. ECC provides network jacks in the main hallway on the first floor of Nitschke Hall.

These jacks connect to the network at 100 mbps full-duplex. By comparison, wireless connections are 54 mbps full-duplex and are shared with others using the same wireless access point.

These jacks are provided so it is not necessary to disconnect network cables in computer labs.
