How do I map my UTAD home directory to a Windows machine?


  • 1) Right Click on the “My Computer” icon on the desktop.


  • 2) Click on “Map Network Drive” menu item.


  • 3) In the window that opens, Select H: (or any other preferable drive letter).
    In the folder box type in “\\utad.utoledo.edu\dfs$\Volumes\UTADUSERNAME”.
    e.g. “\\utad.utoledo.edu\dfs$\Volumes\psubram”




  • 4) Click “Finish”.


  • 5) The following authentication box will appear.
    In the “User name” box put in “utad\UTADUSERNAME” and in the “Password” box put in your password.




  • 6) Click “OK”.

    Your H drive is now mapped.
