How to filter Junk and Adult content E-mail messages?


For Eudora Version 5.2.0.9

  1. After logging in to Eudora there is an item "Special" on the Menu bar.
  2. Click "Special" and select "Make filter".




  3. Select Incoming or Outgoing depending on what mails you want to filter.
  4. Selecting manual runs all manual filters on the current messages. This is the only way that filters designated as Manual in the Filters window can be used.
  5. Provide the e-mail address for which you want to block the messages.
  6. or

  7. Provide the specific subject which you think is related to a junk mail (The subject should be complete and exact).
  8. Select one of the following actions to be performed on the mail you want to block,
  9. You may send the e mail to a new folder with your choice name, so that you can separate these mails from Inbox.
  10. or

  11. You may directly send the e-mail to one of the already existing folders
  12. or

  13. You may directly delete the message (sends to trash)
  14. Once you feel you made the right filter click "create filter"
  15. From now the proposed action will take place on the mails you want to filter
  16. You have to repeat the same procedure for all the email addresses or subjects you may want to filter
