The following instructions explain how to setup Evolution with an engineering account. 1. When Evolution is opened go to Edit and choose Preferences. 2. Under Mail Accounts choose Add. 3. Type in your name and engineering email address in the fields. Click Forward. 4. Choose IMAP as the Server Type from the drop box. Enter imap.eng.utoledo.edu for the server and your engineering username for the Username field. Select SSL encryption from the drop box. Click Forward. Note: Choosing SSL ensures an encrypted connection to the server. 5. The Receiving Options are completly optional. Click Forward. 6. Choose SMTP for the Server Type. In the Server field enter smtp.eng.utoledo.edu and check the box that says Server requires authentication. Click Forward. 7. Enter a name for the account. Click Forward. Setup is now complete!
