Introduction Brief Procedure Full Instructions Introduction The print quota administration program was developed by ECC to encourage prudent use of the laser printers located in each lab. Prior to installing the print quota system a small number of students were printing a great number of copies of material totally unrelated to the educational process. This led to the establishment of the print quota system. Brief Procedure If you wish to check the status of your print quota you must first log into the server from any Windows or UNIX machine. Once connected to the server, enter the command "printquota" (without the quotation marks) at the prompt. Instructions Explanatory comments are written in italics. In most cases, text in [brackets] represents input which varies with needs of the user, text in "quotes" represent menu items, icon choices or something needing to be typed exactly as shown and bold text represents the expected computer prompt or resultant response.
