Usernames

An engineering email alias has the form FirstName.LastName@eng.utoledo.edu This alias points to your engineering email account. ECC does not change user/account names. To have the first and/or last name that is associated with an account changed: * Send your ECC user/account name, old first and last name, new first and last name, and UT ID number to ecc-service@eng.utoledo.edu with the subject 'Change of name' * Return e-mail will notify you the change has been made. * firstname.lastname e-mail addresses will change along with this update. This allows you to receive e-mail with either your account name or your new firstname.lastname addresses (the old firstname.lastname will not work).

Passwords

	It is the responsibility of the user to whom the account is issued to keep his/her password secret. Furthermore, each user should change their passwords often, at least every few months. Further information concerning changing your password.
