| The objectives of the curriculum in Electrical Engineering are to develop in the student the capacity to work in areas such as communications, computers, control systems, electromagnetics, electronic design, energy conversion, power systems, signals and solid state devices. The EE program object is to provide students with a quality education, consisting of a balanced general education in the arts and sciences, a firm foundation in the fundamental principles of EE, and specialized knowledge in select areas of study consistent with student interest. Emphasis is placed on developing students' abilities for independent and creative thinking so that they can succeed and become leaders in the engineering profession and adapt themselves to rapid changes in the fields of EE. These are attained through the provisions of modern curricula and quality on academic regulations, course selections and career information. | ||
