Electrical Engineering Technology
 
          The baccalaureate program prepares students for careers as applications engineers in fields of manufacturing, maintenance, testing, installation, and inspection. The curriculum includes an electrical core and courses in electronics, digital, computers, math and physics and industrial applications. Labs are used in courses to integrate theory and practice. Graduates of the B.S. in Engineering Technology degree program are prepared for positions such as controls engineer, electrical design engineer and maintenance engineer. Graduates of the B.S.E.T. program are eligible to take the F.E. examination in most states of the first step toward registration as a Professional Engineer. Students transferring into this program from other colleges and universities with deficiencies will be required to complete course prerequisites before enrolling in required upper-division courses.
