| Computer-related occupations represent one of the fastest growing employment areas in both Ohio and the United States. The program curriculum includes a solid foundation in electronics, with an emphasis on installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks and associated equipment. Labs are used in courses to integrate theory and practice. Graduates of the B.S. program are prepared to assume positions such as field engineer, computer systems specialist, network support specialist, LAN administrator and systems integrator. | ||
| Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the F.E. examination in most states as the first step toward registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). Students transferring into this program from other colleges and universities with deficiencies will be required to complete course prerequisites before enrolling in upper division courses. This program only offers a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology degree. | ||
