can enter the building starting at 8:30 a.m. The Career Fair will begin
at 10:00 a.m. Entrance
is at the south end in front of Nitschke Auditorium. Please visit

a map of the engineering complex.
- Directions regarding payment by check or credit card
will be on the invoice we send to you. Please do not send payment before
you receive the invoice.

- No parking passes are needed the day of the event.
However, you will need to identify what company you are with in order to
gain entrance to lot 20E (in front of the auditorium).
- Students will be available to help you unload and reload
your displays the day of the event.

Following the Career Fair, once you have your display ready to
ship, please bring to the Career Management Center office located in Nitschke
Hall Room 1040, and we will contact FedEx for pickup.
***SHIPPING DISPLAYS
AFTER CAREER FAIR***
The college does not use UPS as their carrier. If you are planning
to ship your display following the career fair, please prepare a FedEx shipping
label. UPS will not pick up packages from The College of Engineering. If you
prefer to use a carrier other than FedEx, you will be responsible for the
return shipment of your display.
- Dress Attire: Most company representatives wear business
casual attire. Students do have a dress code and are not permitted to
enter the Career Fair if not dressed appropriately.
- Your registration fee covers the cost of lunch for two
representatives. If more than two representatives attend lunch, the cost
is $20 per person for each additional representative.
- There is an additional fee of $15 for electricity.
- Overnight accommodations are available at the Hilton
Hotel at (419) 381-6800. Ask for the Career Fair UT discount when you
call.
- Signs will be posted at the Career Fair indicating the
following:
- Company name
- Whether you are hiring full-time and/or co-op
- What engineering majors you are interested in
- U. S. citizens only – yes or no
- Are you recruiting graduate students: yes or no
- Your booth number
- Student name tags will have the following information:
- Name
- Engineering discipline
- If you need to cancel your participation in the
Engineering Career Fair, the cancellation deadline is 5:00 pm on Thursday,
September 18, 2008. If you do not cancel by this date and time, you will
be invoiced as a participant.

- If you plan to interview on Thursday (employers outside
a 60-mile radius) or Friday (employers within a 60-mile radius), please
contact (419) 530-8050 prior to the Career Fair so that arrangements can
be made. Please let us know how many representatives you will be bringing
that day so we can arrange lunch for your company representatives.
