Project SCOUT is a program recently begun at The University of Toledo to assist those with varying disabilities to find employment. One of the goals of the project is to "encourage collaborative partnerships throughout the campus". The program works by matching a specific individual with the needs of an on campus department. One of the first individuals to be placed is Ms. Laurel Volk. Laurel recently joined the College of Engineering's Office of College Relations and Facilities Management as an office assistant.
