Professor receives notice regarding article in "Materials Science & Engineering Journal." Dr. A. H. Jayatissa and M. Gautuam published article,
"Gas Sensing Properties of Graphene Synthesized by Chemical Vapor Deposition" is among the most downloaded article published in the journal since it was established.
Dr. Jayatissa was also the invited speaker at the International Workshop on Nanovision Science in January 2011 in Hamamatsu, Japan.

IDEAL is a three-year nearly $1 million grant from the

This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the academic, scientific, technological, industrial, or service areas involving separations technologies for individuals under the age of 40. The AIChE Separations Division is pleased to announce Dr. Isabel Escobar (University of Toledo) as the recipient of the 2011 FRI / John G. Kunesh Award.
