M.S. in Engineering with a concentration in General Engineering

The part-time Master of Science in Engineering program offers an integration of engineering, business, and elective courses. The program consists of 30 credits of graduate work including six credit hours for a work-related Project.

It is administered by the office of the associate dean for graduate studies. It is a cross-disciplinary program that combines study in business management and engineering and is an alternative to traditional MBA or research-oriented technical MS degree. The title on the degree will be M.S. in Engineering with a concentration in General Engineering.

Admission Requirements


Students lacking one or more of these courses are expected to take corrective action before entering the program. The program’s admissions committee will review each application. Admissions are made on an individual basis and take into account the applicant’s previous record, the intended area of study, and the needs and capacity of the College of Engineering. Students who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Toledo do not need to submit official transcripts. Students who did not graduate from The University of Toledo need to contact the Office of the Registrar at their undergraduate alma mater.
