During the rainy season, residents of Los Sanchez are cut off from the nearby town of Orocuina due to a rising river that runs between the community and a main road. Engineers Without Borders traveled to Los Sanchez, Honduras in mid-October to gather data and assess the feasibility of a pedestrian bridge that would provide access to the road all year. They hope to implement the project starting in March 2012.
