Research Interests

Dr. Randolph is a geotechnical engineer with experience in the field of subsurface instrumentation; geosynthetics; laboratory soil testing and equipment development; and flow modeling. He has research interests in environmental geotechnology, including statistical methods for the unsaturated flow of groundwater, geologic system reliability, hazardous waste disposal and nonintrusive soil testing. Additional interests include curricular reform and math and science teacher education.
